What's Bevy doing about the changes to winit?

I notice that Bevy is still at winit 0.30.0. Current winit is 0.30.8. I was looking over here to see a conversion to the new framework approach in winit, and wanted to see how the Bevy people handled the replacement of EventLoop::run with EventLoop::run_app. Looks like Bevy isn't following winit's changes in this area. What's the plan?

(I'm trying to find code that successfully completed that conversion. It's supposed to be really easy, but haven't found anything that did it yet.)

winit 0.30.8 is a semver compatible release with 0.30.0. If you run cargo update in your Bevy project, you will get winit 0.30.8.

Bevy was upgraded to 0.30 in #13366.
