Describe the Bug

Following your official tutorial, communication between Webots and ROS2 is not possible.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Follow tutorial https://docs.ros.org/en/jazzy/Tutorials/Advanced/Simulators/Webots/Installation-MacOS.html with fresh new Ubuntu installation using UTM as virtual machine on Mac OS.
  2. ros2 launch webots_ros2_tiago robot_launch.py rviz:=true slam_toolbox:=true

Expected behavior

A reproducible tutorial.

  • ROS Version: Jazzy
  • Operating System: Ubuntu Noble (ARM64)
  • Graphics Card: QEMU VM without hardware acceleration on guest, MacBook Air M2 GPU on host.
