Maintenance and upstream SWF

Important notice!

Before 22 November 2022 TSO maintenance was done at the same time on all servers (TSO game worlds). The only exclusion were the French servers where maintenance was done a week earlier than for others. To make sure that the French players could also play successfully on TSO portable client, SirriS has designed an additional option on client interface, which looks like a check box with possibility to tick it for earlier SWF file update.

On 23 November 2022 maintenance was also done on Russian, Polish and European servers, but German servers plan to do it only on 24 November 2022!!!. Therefore, if the players of abovenamed servers want to play on portable client on 23 November 2022, after maintenance, they have to check that box for upstream SWF as we already have an updated game (whereas German players still have to play on old SWF file - with unticked box, respectively).

If you will start a game with that box unticked, you will get an error message to clear cache as you usually get when your SWF is not updated properly:

Please, be very attentive, today it is a very small toll for that we can comfortably play on TSO portable client and many thanks to SirriS that we can still do it.

Explanation form SirriS:

How does tick box work (near server selection): Maintenance works are held in different countries at different time. Usually, the French servers are the first to be updated, but if I will update the SWF file after French maintenance, no one will be able to play on client but French players... if I will not update SWF file, French players will not be able to play on client, which is not fair as well. Therefore, there are 2 versions of SWF file, one is for all and another one is for those who had maintenance first. When I have updated, say, SWF file for French servers then check box should be ticked by French players ONLY! The rest of the players play on old SWF file and SHOULD NOT! tick that box for upstream SWF. Today on 23 November 2022, we have a maintenance too (Russian, Polish and EU servers) - therefore we have to tick that box! As I got it right, tomorrow, on 24 November 2022, maintenance will be done for the rest of servers... then I will update our main SWF file Then box has to be UNTICKED! as both SWF files will become the same.
