Hi @bgruening, I tried updating the wrapper as per your recent changes to the species list #6506, although I still get the following errors for couple of test

Test 3

Species "9606" is not known to RepeatMasker.  There may
not be any TE families defined in the libraries for this
species/clade or there may be an error in the spelling.
Please check your entry against the NCBI Taxonomy database
and/or try using a broader clade or related species instead.
The full list of species/clades defined in the library may be
obtained using the famdb.py script.Species "9606" is not known to RepeatMasker.  There may
not be any TE families defined in the libraries for this
species/clade or there may be an error in the spelling.
Please check your entry against the NCBI Taxonomy database
and/or try using a broader clade or related species instead.
The full list of species/clades defined in the library may be

I cross-checked the taxonomy numbers with the NCBI taxonomy and they seem to be correct. I do not understand why this error occurs. Could you have any hint?

Mh, I did run this with a full DB, maybe the DB in the conda package does not contain those and we are only allowed to use the once in the container/conda package?
