Adding a tool

This tutorial will focus on how a privileged user will be able to create a new tool item that will be added to the web app database.


Note

You must be logged in as an Employee or higher privilege level to perform this function.

  1. There are two ways that you can add a tool from the admin dashboard, either navigate the menu of the left side of the screen Inventory>Add New Item, or you can click on the "Add Item" button. image

  2. Enter all the necessary information about the tool on the page.

  3. To create the new tool on the page, click the “Create Item” button at the bottom of the page. image

  4. To ensure that the tool was created you can check by Navigating the left side menu Inventory>View All Items to view all tools, or by navigating back to the customer facing part of the website and click the “View All Tools” in the Navbar at the top of the page.
