Infinite Spinner Fixes
There are 2 Infinite Spinner issues that Vine Helper fixes. These fixes are displayed by a green square screen and a popup in the bottom right corner of the browser window. Fixing the Infinite Spinner glitch will allow the user to request the item. It is safe to request items after the glitch is fixed. The sellers are not aware of the fix being used to request their item. The fix does not override any security measure, but simply fix the variants labels to avoid amazon vine internal code to, literally, crash when processing the data (or lack thereof).
The first Infinite Spinner is caused when Vine Sellers do not provide dimension information for the item. This issue causes a majority of the Infinite Spinners on Vine. Vine Helper fixes this by providing the product ASIN as the variants labels (Color, size, etc).
The second Infinite Spinner issue is much newer, so new that the exact cause of it is not 100% known. Various ideas and solutions are currently being tested. We think it is caused by some, but not all, special characters that appear in the drop down menus or titles of listings.
The special character currently identified as problematic are:
- Parentheses
() - Brackets
[] - Colon
: - And sign

Vine Helper fix these issues by removing those characters when encountering them. This might be causing false positives, but is definitely fixing some of the type 2 spinners.
Still under investigation, it is alleged by some that a product color named black-1 and black could be seen as having the same name which causes the Product information to fail to load.
