Kiwi
This is the installation guide for installing Vine Helper on Android devices via the Kiwi web browser. All features work on Kiwi.
Please note that Desktop site
needs to be enabled on amazon.com/vine for Vine to load property as Amazon does not currently have a dedicated mobile website for Vine.
First you need to install Kiwi via Google Play.
Once Kiwi is installed, you need to use it to navigate to google and search for Vine Helper for Chrome. Kiwi is a Chromium based browser that supports extensions which means that Chrome store extensions will work with it.
Install Vine Helper by clicking "Add to Chrome".
Google will confirm that you wish to install it.
Next you will need to go to the Extensions page by click the three dots on the top right of any web page or typing kiwi://extensions into the search bar.
The three dots look like this:
Then tap "Extensions".
Next you can activate Developer Mode by clicking the toggle next to "Developer mode". This will allow you to update manually. By default most browsers will update extensions once a day. If you are aware of a new feature in an updated version you can use the Developer tools to update sooner than once a day.
Note the added features.
Now you need to navigate to amazon.com/vine and load the main page. Vine Helper will only be active once you load the page for the first time after install.
Note: you can leave the Extensions page open as we will be returning to it. You can open amazon.com/vine in a new tab.
After Vine has been loaded you can return to the extensions page and click "Details" under the Vine Helper extension. Scroll all the way to the bottom and you will see an "Extensions option" button. Click on this to load the Vine Helper interface.
The Vine Helper interface looks like this. Pinch and zoom to make it bigger. Instructions for using Vine Helper are located on this wiki and are not part of the Installation guide.
Note: Amazon does NOT support Amazon Vine on mobile. You will have to activate "Desktop site" or it will be a mess.
Note:
Occasionally, a browser will not automatically give a site access. If Vine Helper doesn't work after the above steps, navigate back to the extension and scroll down until you see "Site Access". Ensure that they are on.
