How to Create a microSD card to flash a BBB on Windows

  1. Download the latest flasher image. From that link, choose the most recent image. (The 4 GB version for a revision C, 2 GB version for revision B)

  2. Install 7-zip or your preferred .xz decompressor

  3. Decompress the image

  4. Install Win32DiskImager

  5. Plug in microSD card and flash image to it using Win32DiskImager

Now go back to the Standard Setup Guide for how to flash the Beaglebone itself
