Chihiro
For now only Virtua Cop 3 can be played on Cxbx-Reloaded (even with a few sound/graphics/hangs bugs)
The latest supported build of the emulator is Cxbx-Reloaded 9c483f6 (Feb 26 2019)
-
Open Cxbx-Reloaded and go to Settings -> Config Xbox ControllerMapping and set both Xbox Port 0 to DirectInput Port 0
-
Go to Settings -> Config DirectInput Controller and set Dpad Up, Dpad Down, Start and Back buttons to your keyboard. These key will be used to navigate / select in TEST mode
-
Restart Cxbx-Reloaded, load and start vc3_t.xbe file to change TEST mode settings.
-
Restart Cxbx-Reloaded and go to Settings -> Config Xbox ControllerMapping and set both Xbox Port 0 and 1 to "Not Connected". From now on, you can directly start at step 5 next time.
-
Run Demulshooter for this game :
DemulShooter.exe -target=chihiro -rom=vcop3
-
Run Cxbx-Reloaded and start vc3.xbe file (or use command line to run the emulator with the game directly) No need for calibration
Cxbx-Reloaded Controls | |||
ROM | LEFT CLIK | MIDDLE CLICK | RIGHT CLICK |
vcop3 | Trigger | Bullet Time | Reload |
- To navigate and change value in TEST mode, you need to use Dpad Up, Dpad Down, Start and Back button from XBox controller or mapped to keyboard with DirectInput
- P1 and P2 START buttons are mapped to Keyboard [1] and [2] (just like MAME, etc....) and can be simulated with AHK scripts from any other Aimtrak/Joystick button
- For now only Windowed mode is supported. On fullscreen mode aim will be completely off
- You can use some Autohotkey script or DxWnd to capture the mouse on the window so that right and middle click don't act on the desktop
