  • Updated for the PHB'24 rules. If the dnd5e setting Rules Version is set to Legacy Rules, the following changes to do not apply.
    • The Blindsense detection mode was removed: the Blindsense Rogue class feat was removed.
    • The Witch Sight detection mode was removed: the Witch Sight invocation simply gives Truesight now.
    • The Devil's Sight vision mode is now as bright as Bright Light: the modern rules say that the character can see in Darkness as well as Dim Light normally.
    • The The Third Eye Wizard class feat has changed, and so the active effects The Third Eye: Ethereal Sight and The Third Eye: See Invisibility have no effect anymore.
  • Tokens detected by Tremorsense and Blindsense now have the same visual effect applied to them as if detected by Hearing.
  • Non-PC/NPC actors are now given infinite Light Perception by default.
  • Verified compatibility with dnd5e 4.0.3.

  • Added Eyes of the Grave (Cleric: Grave Domain feat).
    • Detects undead, and PC actors with the Hollow One* (Character Creation Option, EGW 182), Supernatural Gift: Hollow One, or Supernatural Gifts: Hollow One feat.
    • Cannot detect actors that are burrowing, ethereal (from the material plane unless the Etherealness* (Monster Feature, e.g. SRD / MM 147) NPC feat says otherwise), or petrified. Also cannot detect actors with the Nondetection* (Spell, SRD / PHB 263) effect.
    • Does not reveal the identity of detected tokens.
    • Disabled while burrowing, defeated (dead), petrified, sleeping, or unconscious.
    • Is restricted by sight-blocking walls and isn't blocked by darkness sources.
    • Configured automatically for PC actors with the Eyes of the Grave* effect.
  • Fixed detection of spell effects by Detect Magic.

  • Hovering an imprecise-visible token will no longer highlight its combatant in the combat tracker. Hovering a combatant whose token is not precise-visible will no longer hover the token on the canvas.
  • Tokens inside a darkness source detected by Devil's Sight and Truesight are now rendered with a outline filter.
  • Fixed NPC Devil's Sight not detecting tokens inside darkness sources.
