About the Export Formats

Tab Stash offers a variety of export formats--here's when to use each one:

  • Clickable Links: Use this format if you want to copy/paste your Tab Stash tabs into an email, Word document, Google document, or other rich-text application. This format is also best for note-taking applications such as OneNote or Evernote.
  • List of URLs: Use this if you only care about the URLs, and not the page titles. Stashes are separated by blank lines, and the name of each stash is included prefixed by two or more # characters.
  • Markdown: Use this format for plain-text applications, forums, or anywhere Markdown is supported.
  • OneTab: Use this to export to OneTab or other compatible browser extensions.
