Contact Sync

Introduction

With SpotlerAutomate, new and changed Contacts in Microsoft D365 automatically become new and changed Contacts in Spotler. This applies to both customers and leads. If you delete a Contact in Dynamics CRM, all permissions are disabled for that Contact in Spotler so that this Contact is no longer emailed.

With regard to the contacts synchronization, the following actions are synchronized:

  • Add contact / lead / customer (account)
  • Change contact person/ lead/ customer (account)
  • Delete contact/ lead/ customer (account)
  • Deactivate contact person/ lead/ customer (account)
  • Activating contact/ lead/ customer (account)

Which contact information is synced by default?

Which data is synchronized can be adjusted by adjusting the mapping from D365 to Spotler. By contacting our Support we can customize this mapping for you. By default, the following data is synchronized to Spotler.

  • Contact
    • All name and address details in the Summary tab (except job title, fax and contact preferences)
    • The gender and date of birth in the Details tab
    • The permissions in the Marketing tab
    • Permissions are registrations for mailings of the contacts. The absence of permissions can be used to exclude contacts from a mailing.
  • Lead
    • All name and address details in the Summary tab (except the lead topic and job title)
    • The company name in the Summary tab
  • Customer (account)
    • All name and address details in the Summary tab

Synchronization occurs after a Contact record in Dynamics 365

  • Has been created
  • Has changed contact information and is saved
  • Has a changed record status (active/inactive)
  • Will be deleted

Welke gegevens worden gesynchroniseerd kan aangepast worden door de mapping van D365 naar Spotler aan te passen. Door contact op te nemen met onze Support kunnen wij deze mapping aanpassen voor u. Standaard worden de volgende gegevens gesynchroniseerd naar Spotler.

  • Contactpersoon
    • Alle NAW-gegevens in het tabblad Summary (behalve de functietitel, fax en contactvoorkeuren)
    • Het geslacht en geboortedatum in het tabblad Details
    • De permissies in het tabblad Marketing
      • Permissies zijn aanmeldingen voor mailingen van de contactpersonen. De afwezigheid van permissies kan gebruikt worden om contactpersonen uit te sluiten bij een mailing.
  • Lead
    • Alle NAW-gegevens in het tabblad Summary (behalve de lead topic en functietitel)
    • De bedrijfsnaam in het tabblad Summary
  • Klant (account)
    • Alle NAW-gegevens in het tabblad Summary

Synchronisatie worden uitgevoerd nadat een Contactrecord in Dynamics 365

  • Has been created
  • Has changed contact information and is saved
  • Has a changed record status (active/inactive)
  • Will be deleted

Add contact/lead/customer(account)

In D365, create a new contact at Contacts.

Fill in the contact details. At least the last name of the contact person is mandatory. After that, save the contact.
