File

  • Save to .prm file: Update chosen settings to .prm file
  • [E]xport to workspace: Export traces to the Matlab workspace
  • Save spike detection threshold: Save spike detection threshold per channel to apply constant threshold across time. It sets P.vcFile_thresh file, which stores the spike detection threshold for each channel.

Edit

  • Bad site threshold: Automatically detect bad-site threshold that is below P.thresh_corr_bad_site (0-1).
  • Spike detection threshold: Uses P.qqFactor setting.
  • Filter mode: Uses P.vcFilter setting. Select from below:
    • ndiff: 2n-point Differentiator filter determined by P.nDiff_filt parameter
    • bandpass: Savitzky-Golay differentiator filter determined by P.nDiff_filt parameter
    • sgdiff: Savitzky-Golay differentiator filter determined by P.nDiff_filt parameter
    • fir1: Finite Impulse Response filter fir1.m determined by P.freqLim parameter
    • user: User-specified filter.
  • Reference mode: Select from below:
    • none: no reference signals are subtracted
    • mean: mean across sites are subtracted from each site (excluding bad sites)
    • median: median across sites are subtracted from each site
  • Common reference threshold
  • FFT cleanup threshold: 0 to disable; 10 (recommended, MAD unit) if you see significant narrow-band noise contaminations

View

  • Display time range (s): Specify the time duration to display.
  • Display site range: Specify the range of site numbers to display.
  • Show raw traces [F]: Toggles between "filtered" and "raw" traces. Keyboard shortcut: 'F'.
  • Show spike [T]hreshold: Show the spike threshold as a dashed magenta line for each channel.
  • Hide [S]pikes: Toggles between "Show" and "Hide" spikes. Keyboard shortcut: 'S'.
  • Hide [G]rid: Toggles between "Show" and "Hide" grids. Keyboard shortcut: 'G'.
  • Site view: Select from below:
    • Site correlation
    • Spike threshold
    • Event rate (Hz)
    • Event SNR (median)
  • Reference view: Select from below:
    • original
    • binned
  • Frequency scale: Select from below:
    • Linear
    • Log
