The VRX Competition 2022 will be run using the VRX simulation environment, and will take place in three phases. This page provides a technical walkthrough of the steps required to participate in the competition.
- Visit the VRX Competition 2022 website to read about the competition tasks, rules, scoring and deadlines.
- Note that fee-waivers are available to any team who wishes to apply.
- Follow the VRX tutorials to learn how to install and use the VRX simulation platform.
Competitors must develop and submit solutions to each of the three phases of the competition. Follow the links below for details about each phase:
The first VRX milestone. Teams submit a video demonstrating they are able to run the simulation environment.
A test run of the competition. Teams submit preliminary solutions and get to see how they currently rank against all other competitors.
The main event. Teams submit their finished solutions and receive scores and final rankings.
- Before you submit, validate your solution to make sure it passes simple sanity checks.
- As you develop your solution, we strongly recommend you evaluate it by running a local copy of the VRX server to see your scores for various tasks.
