shr5 core rule generator
use the wizard
The shr5 core rule system is described in the shadowrun fifth edition core rulebook and is a kind of priority system. Thanks to the chummer2 project the data can be imported. To create a character with the shr5 core rule system, you need a shr5 generator object linked with the rule system you like. Just double click it and the editor of the generator will open, this is a kind of wizard besides it doesn’t block and you could save the state of the generator whenever you want. In the validation section all violated rules are listed to give you hint what is missing before your character is ready to commit. When you commit the character the generator object will be moved in the character as we want to keep the information of how the character was created. I have included the example characters from the core rule book as samples, the generator for Rob is ready to commit, as the character of Kyra is missing the option to spend the last karma on binding spirits for now, for James we miss the complex forms resources which we could not find in the chummer2 data.
When you double click a new shr5 generator it's editor open and look like this. This is the page for the generator object, it here you choose the the shr5 generator system you like to use and after select the different priority options provided by the shr5 generator system. A character need a group to be associated with, as the group is the primary container for a managed character.
When you create your character the 2. create section will be opened and the editor get some new pages to edit the created character. Here you can exchange karma for resources and check which points you need to spend. With the reset command, you will destroy the managed character. So be careful with that axe eugen.
