How do I register to IATI?

AidStream requires a Publisher ID and an API Key in order to automatically add and update your files to the IATI Registry. If you haven't already, you will first need to register as a user with the IATI Registry and then enter those IATI Registry details into AidStream’s IATI Registry Information Settings page.

Registering as a user with the IATI Registry

You will need to first set up an IATI user account and then create a publisher account on the IATI Publisher Registry before you can configure your organisation's settings in AidStream. Instructions on how to do this are on the Registry website.

Publisher ID

When creating an account on the IATI Registry, you will be asked to choose a Publisher ID. We recommend that you use the same identifier you have specified when setting up your AidStream account, as explained on the Registering an organisation userguide page here.

Enter your new IATI Registry information into AidStream

Once you have created an account in the IATI Registry you will need to enter the Publisher ID and API Key which IATI have provided you with into the AidStream 'Settings' page (see below).

API Token

You can find your API token by logging into the IATI Registry, clicking the 'My Account' tab in the User Account dashboard. Go to the ‘API Tokens’ option. Type in your organisation’s name in the ‘Name’ text box.

Copy your API token and paste it into the correct field in AidStream’s Publishing settings page below.
