You must create Reporting Organisation before being allowed to enter any data on your organisation’s activities into AidStream. Once registering with AidStream, you will be redirected to the Settings page below and required to provide the following information.

Reporting Organisation Identifier

The International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI) requires each organisation to be referenced by a globally unique name, known as the Reporting Organization Identifier. You must follow the identifier structure when creating your Reporting Organization Identifier, which consists of three parts. These are the country code, registration agency and registration number and can be found through following steps:

  1. Look for the country code in the IATI Standard codelist
  2. Find the registration agency where your organisation is registered. Some agencies are listed in the codelist here, but the list is not comprehensive. If a Registation Agency that you wish to use is not on this list, please contact [email protected]
  3. The registration number is the code provided by athe recognised agency that registered your organisation.

For example, in the UK, there are three registration agencies: Companies House, the Charities Commissioner, and Revenue & Customs). The registration number is the identifier issued by the relevant agency (eg. Oxfam-GB's identifier is GB-CHC-202918-LACA34 - GB-CHC refers to the UK Charity Commissioners).

Now you may add multiple organisation names in different languages by adding more narrative.
