Participants (alphabetical): Conor (async), Erik, Jen, John, Kevin, Kushal (async), Mickael, Nina, Ro (async)
- VM rename: Went with sd-svs -> sd-app; sd-export-usb -> sd-devices, sd-svs-disp -> sd-viewer; see https://github.com/freedomofpress/securedrop-workstation/pull/407 and #285 if you have initial comments
- Staging VMs need to be renamed, probably sd-app-server and sd-mon-server
- Support sync? (ro: I don't think we need cross-team support sync this week!)
- Should we be using Gitter more vs Slack for development conversations?
Yesterday:
- S3 -> git-lfs migration work (https://github.com/freedomofpress/securedrop-debian-packaging/pull/124), thanks to Jen for prompt review
Today:
- Starting on the RPM signing story, switching to metadata rather than packaging sigs
- there's a wrench in that (will comment in #securedrop since conor isn't in here)
Blockers or Asks:
- PSA: packaging repo now requires lfs, no more S3
Yesterday:
- Hiring
- Got Nina set up on workstation docs env, Git workshop still TK
- Rename PR
Today:
- Follow-up on PR above ^^
- More granular planning for weeks before pilot launch

gonna look again at the syslog PR in the client repo

Tomorrow:

- None
Yesterday:

Today:
- ^^
- Cont'd on sprint
Blockers or Asks: None
Today:
- Submitted PR for latest message preview in source list: https://github.com/freedomofpress/securedrop-client/pull/698 This highlighted #699 which Jen is currently looking into.
- Continuing to work on inline conversation updates (https://github.com/freedomofpress/securedrop-client/pull/688). Updating the existing unit tests is taking longer than I expected (I changed a bunch of method signatures and the behaviour of existing tests also has to change to reflect the new implementation). This is mostly done (down to 3 failing tests, started with 20+). I expect this to be finished tomorrow morning at the latest. Will remove "draft" from related PR.
Blockers or Asks:
- None.
- Tomorrow will just pick up next ticket on sprint backlog for SD-client. Happy to take suggestions on what I should be doing. Thanks..!
